Omar Mahmud

My name is Omar Mahmud. I am a soon to be 16 year old photographer, who is going into my sophomore year of high school. Overall, I am pretty excited for my second year of high school, and seeing where it takes me. I love to take pictures for my schools sports teams. My favorite sport to shoot probably is football, just because of the atmosphere (and everyone loves the pictures). I also play basketball, and I would say I am pretty good at it. I got into photography because I saw a camera lying around my house, and I guess I just decided I wanted to try it out. The summer of 2025, I took pictures for my friends, and I loved doing it. From there, I decided I wanted to try school sports, and I loved that even more. And here we are. I've gotten a lot better too (just look at my first post vs now). I'm looking to further my journey with the camera, and please let me know if you have any suggestions, or questions. I love both!

For my work, I like having emotions in the game, and trying to 'tell a story' with my pictures. I also try to think about what I would like from my photographer, and I take pictures based off of that as well. For my gear, I have a Canon EOS Rebel T7I for my camera body. My main lens is a Canon EF-S 55-250mm f 4-5.6 IS STM Lens, and my backup is a 18-55mm (not sure about the f stop or the other things).

If you are looking for a photographer who's reasonably priced, who gives you the best quality, and who gives you the pictures withing 24-48 hours, I'm the guy!
